On the way to the bus pickup/drop off hub; the passenger says "ok google......how much more will it cost me to have Waymo take me directly to work?" Google assistant responds, "eighty seven cents less than the cost of the bus ticket and will save you 22 minutes travel time". Public transportation for longer distances on rail, air etc will survive, buses and bus stops will be about as useful as land telephone lines are today.
Thx for reminding me how important it is for 1 to know what they don't know...And good luck learning that lesson someday...
